Synopsis

The team began to piece together the events surrounding a brutal assault on a young boy named Alfie and the subsequent burglary of his mother's home. Their investigation revealed that Alfie’s estranged father, Carl, was deeply indebted to a loan shark. Quickly, Jo and Stevie discovered Carl’s involvement in drug dealing. A break-in at his residence yielded a grim discovery: his body. Meanwhile, Nikki suspected Alfie was withholding crucial information.
