Synopsis

On the Thames’s banks, Green and Valentine discover a body. The deceased is Michael Drummond, a physician whose reputation has crumbled and who is currently under scrutiny by the General Medical Council. He is suspected of involvement in a death that occurred during his medical practice, and faces mounting condemnation from those connected to the victim. During questioning, one of the potential suspects, Dave Batchelor, reveals he lost his girlfriend at a party attended by Drummond in the 1990s.
