Synopsis

With his departure from the series looming, actor Mark Wingett considers the twenty-one years he spent embodying Jim Carver at Sun Hill. He traces the character's journey from an idealistic young constable to Detective Constable, charting a course marked by hardship and joy: moments of excess, risks taken, a marriage to Marie and its subsequent dissolution, and ultimately, the arrival of June Ackland – the woman he had always desired.
