Synopsis

Detectives Rob Thatcher and Ken Drummond are observing a witness in a fraud case when Ken’s son, Alex, appears at their doorstep visibly shaken. Alex recounts a night out celebrating his seventeenth birthday with friends, during which he believes he killed a prostitute. Drummond leaves Alex in Thatcher's care and hurries to the woman’s apartment, only to find her dead. In a panic, Ken removes evidence from the scene – Alex’s hat. With their operation compromised, Thatcher suspects their intended
