Synopsis

While PC Nick Klein recovers from a staged heroin overdose orchestrated by Dennis Weaver’s men, Sgt. Dale Smith and PC Kerry Young struggle to definitively prove his innocence. His compromised state and past struggles with drug use cast doubt on his testimony. Klein confronts DS Phil Hunter, accusing him of informing Weaver about his history as a drug addict. Meanwhile, Polly Page’s home is burglarized, and she begins to question the consequences of her affair with journalist Frank Fisher, who q
