Synopsis

From a rooftop, a man hurls tiles to the ground. P.C. Lyttleton, afflicted with vertigo, is dispatched to apprehend him. A Polish sailor arrives at the station, seeking political asylum. Meanwhile, D.S. Roach and D.C. Dashwood intercept a man who has been defrauding citizens by impersonating a gas board official. Chief Superintendent Brownlow speaks with P.C. Edwards about a potential transfer to the coroner's office. Sergeant Cryer is taken aback when Mrs. Penny accuses her husband of assault.
