Synopsis

Following a minor collision on the High Street, PC Jim Carver breathalyses an elderly gentleman. Despite the result, he is moved by the man's circumstances and permits him to depart in a taxi. The individual is revealed to be Hugh Alexander, a High Court judge known for his strong support of the police.
