Synopsis

During a routine raid on the nightclub, The Pink Cockatoo, Carver felt a prickle of unease, convinced he'd spotted someone from his past amongst the crowd. Later that night, he intercepted a driver clearly struggling with the effects of alcohol – a man who turned out to be Ted Roach, his former Detective Sergeant. Carver offered Roach a deal: information on Mickey Owen, the club’s owner, in exchange for leniency on a drink-driving charge. But Roach's information soon proved to be a treacherous a
