Synopsis

The Flying Squad, hampered by a shortage of personnel, temporarily assigns Stamp as a driver. He finds it difficult to gain the approval of Detective Sergeant Harrap, though Detective Inspector Lomax offers him steady encouragement. Lomax’s patience frays, however, when a covert bank robbery operation is compromised by a silent alarm and the unexpected arrival of Klein and Hagen in the Area Car. Stamp's position with Harrap diminishes further after he is responsible for the loss of a vehicle car
