Synopsis

Santini arrives first at the scene of a severe car crash, and earns a measure of local acclaim with his courageous plunge into the river to stabilize the vehicle, which was precariously close to the water's edge. The driver, however, reveals a troubling secret: a bag of cocaine, intended as a gift for his mistress, is concealed within Santini’s possession.
