Synopsis

PC Garfeld takes issue when a security guard from a private firm apprehends a suspected burglar they had been pursuing. Having lost the individual, Garfeld is inclined to believe the suspect’s claim of assault, and begins examining him. He discovers a criminal record for assault, and the suspect is found in possession of tools consistent with the break-in. He alleges seeing the boy throw something over a wall during the chase. George accuses him of fabricating the story to justify the arrest and
