Synopsis

In the village of Rawton, Dr. Llewellyn and his colleague, Reverendiggers, find themselves drawn into a perplexing case: the failed attempt of a woman suffering from a debilitating illness to take her own life. As they delve deeper into the circumstances, suspicion falls upon her children, a son and a daughter, who are believed to have aided her in her desperate act.
