Synopsis

A conflict arises between Boulton and Carver when a homeowner is taken into custody following the death of an intruder, inflicted with a baseball bat. Boulton believes the act of killing an unlawful entry is a justifiable defense, a notion Carver vehemently rejects. This fundamental difference in perspective threatens to obstruct their investigation.
