Synopsis

During the apprehension of a shoplifter, Quinnan is struck. The situation deteriorates further with the unwelcome intervention of a passing stranger. Unbeknownst to Quinnan, this man is the newly appointed Chief Inspector of Operations at Barton Street. Cato offers the Chief Inspector a gentle critique of his unprofessional conduct, but the officer’s blunt management style precipitates a clash with Brownlow.
