Synopsis

Carver and Skase begin an inquiry into a lorry hijacking, but quickly find their investigation eclipsed by the actions of a violent gang seeking to recover valuables hidden within the stolen cargo. Witnesses are routinely assaulted and intimidated, leaving the detectives with little hope of success. Their only chance rests with a nervous shopkeeper who, unknowingly, purchased the very item the gang desires.
