Synopsis

Cryer begins an inquiry when a troubled young man arrives at the station, reporting an assault. A search of nearby hospitals reveals a victim whose injuries correspond to the young man’s account. However, the victim insists he is merely a friend of the accused and that the young man bears no responsibility for his wounds. Cryer’s investigation then focuses on the owner of a local hostel, whose involvement seems deeper than he initially disclosed.
