Synopsis

Croft’s fury flared when the man responsible for the assault on a young market trader was released. Beech offered to assist in the investigation. As they learned of a second assault on a boy, Beech devised a shrewd plan to provoke the attacker into confessing – though Croft found his methods unsettling. Beech and Carver watched as the father of the first victim administered a brutal beating to the assailant.
