Synopsis

Greig spearheaded the search after a young boy disappeared into the custody of his stepfather, who had been denied access by the child's mother. Stamp and Ackland had observed the boy earlier that day. Their subsequent discovery of the boy’s body prompted the stepfather to claim the death was accidental; the child, he insisted, had fallen while attempting to show him a familiar fishing spot from his childhood.
