Synopsis

Carver navigates the fractured aftermath of a family’s grief, a grief deepened by the lenient sentence of a young girl believed responsible for a relative’s death. Their fragile composure shatters when the girl is abducted by two masked men; the family vehemently denies any involvement. Carver finds himself confronting the social worker who made the fateful decision to release her, a confrontation that draws the attention of Conway and further complicates the already precarious situation.
