Synopsis

Pearce finds himself embroiled in an attempted murder case, the alleged weapon a slice of quiche subtly poisoned. He’d much rather have remained at home, but duty compels him to investigate. To his surprise, laboratory analysis confirms the quiche was indeed tainted, drawing him into a complex marital dispute. The underlying cause appears to be the tragic loss of their young child.
