Synopsis

Loxton’s attention is drawn to a stolen television, inexplicably displayed in the window of a local electrical shop. A disquieting intuition about the shop owner prompts Loxton to report the unusual occurrence to Deakin. Upon investigation, Deakin is met with a bribe from the shifty dealer, who then hints at a past infraction by Carver. Separately, Carver’s arrest of a young boy with six thousand packets of tobacco yields unexpectedly revealing information.
