Synopsis

Cato contemplates his prospects at Sun Hill following a disappointing rejection for a promotion – a decision made without so much as an interview. Elsewhere, Boyden and Quinnan investigate an assault involving a leaflet distributor and a warehouse manager, uncovering a shared past between the two men. The distributor had been made redundant after three decades of loyal service, a casualty of the company's failure to adapt to changing times.
