Synopsis

Meadows discovers a young girl, the victim of a drug overdose, and his initial hope for a single case curdles into grim realization at the hospital: she is the third such victim in recent weeks. A fourth boy is found dead, and Haines, now assigned to the Drugs Squad, returns to Sun Hill to assist Meadows in tracing the source of the uncut heroin that arrived from the Far East. Meanwhile, Stamp and Quinnan uncover a connection to a burglary they had investigated earlier that day.
