Synopsis

Deakin and Morgan returned to court after the brief adjournment, only to discover a further complication. A key witness had taken an overdose and died, while the defendant himself appeared intoxicated. With the defendant facing a lenient sentence – escaping jail time and charged with a minor offense – Lines and Croft arrived to rearrest him, armed with a file of newly gathered evidence.
