Synopsis

Quinnan and Hollis begin to unravel a case when a store detective celebrated for his courage is accused of assaulting a shoplifter. The detective initially confesses to the act, but after a discreet conversation with Beech, he swiftly recants. Though simmering with resentment towards the sergeant for his intrusive involvement, the detectives soon realize this is not an isolated occurrence; instead, it’s part of a pattern of assaults against vulnerable shoplifters.
