Synopsis

Greig and Crofts sought out a young man with a prior record for petty theft, intending to question him regarding recent burglaries. Upon their arrival, the boy ushered them inside, explaining that his mother had been assaulted by his father. He confessed to selling a stolen brooch to a man, the proceeds of which he intended to use for his mother's care. Donna then discerned a connection between the burglaries and a local alarm company; three of the targeted residences possessed only dummy alarm
