Synopsis

The rumble of the transit van faded as Jim and Tosh heard shouts erupting from the street. Jim, instinctively drawn to the commotion, went to see what was happening and found a man being assaulted by D.C. Boulton from Barton Street. Jim felt unable to lie about the arrest, regardless of who was involved. The suspect lodged a complaint against Boulton, who was visibly displeased by Jim’s refusal to corroborate the arrest as a witness. Adding to the pressure, Monroe was urging Jim to turn Boulton
