Synopsis

Grandmother couldn’t bear Pearl’s yodeling and reported her to the authorities. As an officer led Pearl out to the patrol car, Grandmother believed she had caused her granddaughter distress and was overcome with sadness and regret. Simultaneously, the police discovered Grandmother's still, which brought a fresh wave of difficulties upon them all.
