Synopsis

Bernie grew weary of the state the house was in, a testament to the children’s untidiness. He resolved they would be made to restore order, assigning them the task of cleaning up their mess. Initially compliant, the children’s enthusiasm waned when they discovered no additional compensation for their efforts. A strike was declared. As the house descended into disarray, Bernie was forced to hire temporary workers from the neighborhood to complete the work.
