It’s essentially the elevated version of that film where someone constantly yells at a musician to improve his performance. Imagine Guy Ritchie tackling a series about a small, family-run sandwich shop, but with the goal of making it captivating—except he only knows how to make things exciting by layering aggression and macho posturing over violent characters exchanging insults and physical blows. Initially, he seemed lost on how to proceed. But then, seemingly inspired by an excessive amount of cocaine, he thought, "Wait a minute! I *can* just repeat the formula I always use!" The studio executives were thrilled because they’re working with someone who operates at their level, and they're confident that their audience will respond to the same kind of content.
