Synopsis

The disappearance of fish from the Scottish coast was a matter of much speculation. Some whispered of a grim connection to a body discovered – a man, lifeless and arranged in a manner suggesting torture. Steed and Emma believed this to be the cause, which led them to seek refuge with Ian, the thirty-fifth Laird of Clan De'ath, a stay that placed them precariously close to discovery by the clan’s keepers.
