Synopsis

Alan Carter, a botanist who is deaf, finds his idyllic life unraveling when his fiancée departs, seemingly under an inexplicable compulsion. She is subsequently taken by a chauffeur who appears mesmerized. Could this bizarre turn of events be connected to the colossal seed that has fallen from the sky and landed in the vicinity?
