Synopsis

The residents of Adelphi Park, a retirement home, are all men and women of considerable wealth. Most, however, are resolutely avoiding visitors, including Professor Renter, who was scheduled to depart for America with Steed to demonstrate his newest invention. His wife is either unable or unwilling to offer assistance, and the absence of Madden, their fellow millionaire neighbor, is particularly notable.
