This has been the biggest pleasant shock of the year. I generally dislike superhero movies and was hesitant about a series featuring characters with special abilities. However, it's really unlike what you’d expect from a superhero film or even a standard Korean drama. It incorporates familiar elements found in Korean television shows, such as complex feelings and fully developed personalities, but the main character’s ability is something completely different from what Marvel does. At its heart, this is a story about a family—a fractured one that finds restoration through someone who originally intended to steal their money. Every character has imperfections, and there isn't really anyone you can definitively call the hero. You find yourself constantly questioning whether or not you should be supporting a particular person. I won’t reveal any plot points – just give it a try.
