Synopsis

Andy sifted through Helen’s collection of faded newspaper clippings and paused, struck by a photograph: she was being led away by officers toward the county jail. He resolved to conceal what he had found, holding onto the knowledge until it inevitably surfaced—until the school board learned of it, and her career crumbled.
