Synopsis

The arrival of a distinguished, elderly minister stirred considerable excitement in town, particularly among the older women who hoped to make a favorable impression. Aunt Bee, prompted by a whispered suggestion, decided to purchase a wig – a short, blonde style. Later, during his sermon, the minister spoke eloquently about the importance of sincerity and shedding all artifice. Feeling increasingly uncomfortable, Aunt Bee finally confessed her secret to him regarding the wig she wore.
