Synopsis

Charlene Darling reappeared in Mayberry with the news that she was divorced, an announcement which, according to local custom, now obligated her to marry Andy. Eager to escape the situation, Andy immersed himself in tales of mountain lore and discovered a strange ritual said to nullify such a union – provided he could persuade Barney to ride a horse.
