Synopsis

Andy and Barney were taken aback to hear that Otis, the town’s familiar drunkard, had acquired a new automobile. After one particularly boisterous evening culminated in Otis collapsing unconscious, Andy and Barney deposited him in his customary jail cell, staging an elaborate ruse to make him appear deceased – all with the intention of delivering a pointed lesson. They were unaware, however, that Otis might already have grasped the intended meaning.
