Synopsis

Upon receiving an offer to serve as sheriff of neighboring Greendale, Barney is given a chance to experience the responsibilities firsthand; Andy allows him to assume the role of sheriff in Mayberry for a single day, offering a glimpse into the duties of the town’s highest law-enforcement position.
