Synopsis

Aunt Bee was obliged to depart Mayberry, called away to tend to a cousin in need of care. Before her departure, however, she delivered a gentle but firm reprimand to Andy and Opie regarding the state of their housekeeping. The two boys, spurred by this admonishment, resolved to undertake a thorough cleaning before her return – a task that gained sudden urgency when she telephoned with news of an earlier homecoming.
