Synopsis

The rhythmic snip of shears echoed as Chise and Elias worked, tending to the Wooly Bugs. These creatures, imbued with magic, subsisted on the cold air and yielded a fleece of remarkable properties. A sudden lapse in concentration from Chise left her vulnerable; an attack ensued. As she recovered from the assault, a new openness bloomed between them, a deeper understanding forged in the shared danger.
