The Amazing Race Canada — Season 5

On Signal Hill National Historic Site, ten teams begin their journey, heading west toward Vancouver.

The competitors converge on Fort McMurray, Alberta, where the weight of contention begins to settle upon some, as only three express passes remain.

The teams converge on Castlegar, British Columbia, where demanding trials push some to the brink, their fate complicated by the presence of three Express Passes.

On the Great Wall of China, a few competitors in Beijing grapple with a sense of displacement, their efforts feeling somehow adrift. For others, the challenge has become so daunting that surrender seems a tempting option.

The race presses onward, traversing Shanghai, China, and Bangkok, Thailand, where a sudden detour challenges competitors to maintain their momentum.

The teams journey to Ottawa, where a citizenship test presents a challenge for some Racers, creating a fierce competition to be the first to reach the Double U-Turn.

The competition returns to Newfoundland and Labrador, a landscape where fragile alliances fray and simmering tensions finally erupt. The teams now confront each other in the season's first direct challenge.

The competition journeys southward to Panama City, where a Detour proves to be a catalyst for unrestrained abandon among some of the teams, and a Roadblock leaves the Racers disoriented and struggling with their senses.

A change of route awaits the teams in Regina, and several face considerable disadvantage.

The teams that remain journey to Sault Ste. Marie, where some find themselves tested by demanding challenges, and the final four confront their anxieties.

The last three teams surged toward the finish.
