It’s hard to believe how much mental effort is required to get through this show. While the initial idea held some promise, the quality of the writing is genuinely comical in its poor execution. Even science fiction from decades ago feels more believable and engaging than this mess. The focus on avoiding nuclear power led me to suspect it was a product of the 1960s, which would have made sense given its shortcomings, but I discovered it’s actually from 2013—making the “science” even harder to take seriously. The only aspect that feels authentic to the genre is the low-budget acting style. Apparently, there's teen angst involved, so they stretched it out into seven seasons!
