Fans of films such as *Terminator* and shows like *Battlestar Galactica/Caprica* will likely find this enjoyable. I caught glimpses on television before, but I never understood what was going on because the narrative unfolds gradually; you really need to watch every installment (with one exception). There are some slower moments, but they're outweighed by the more exciting parts. The first season does a solid job with storytelling and developing the characters—everyone has their own history or future plot threads to explore. Season two is truly outstanding, aside from one really bad episode. It’s disappointing that season three never materialized, especially since the show was just starting to become genuinely impressive. My biggest complaint stems from the fact that it's called *Sarah Connor Chronicles*; at times, it feels like her character was shoehorned in simply because of the title. More than a minute of Sarah Connor dialogue felt tedious, particularly as John Conner began to take on a more significant role; some scenes seemed designed to keep Sarah Connor relevant, which didn’t quite align with the storyline later in season two. Perhaps a less specific title like *Terminator: The Pre-Judgment Chronicles* would have been better and avoided this issue. –Tom
