This is just dull and pointless. The narrative seems centered on problems with the spouse of a female diplomat; he’s portrayed as lacking understanding of political matters, and even exhibiting nationalist views, which are presented as signs of "weakness." Then there's the depiction of North Koreans who seem intent on causing nuclear destruction. It isn't difficult to recognize the evident pro-DEI slant and the promotion of globalist ideas present throughout. The performances are acceptable, but that alone can’t make up for what this series gets wrong. I made it through a single episode, which was sufficient to confirm I won’t be returning for more. Basically, wouldn't things be better if entertainment wasn't constantly filled with DEI messaging and one-sided political agendas?
