Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — Season 1

26 episodes · Feb 8, 2003

Tensions steadily rise between the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Foot Clan this season, escalating after Baxter Stockman’s robotic mousers leave their lair in ruins. Forced to relocate deeper within the city's underbelly, they find unexpected support – forging alliances with April O'Neil and Casey Jones along the way. The Turtles repeatedly thwart the schemes of Shredder, Hun, and Stockman, but a surprising offer arrives: Shredder proposes a fragile peace, hinting at a looming threat that demands their combined strength. The truth behind the conflict is then revealed – Splinter unveils the devastating role Shredder and Hun played in the death of his mentor, Hamato Yoshi, igniting an explosive confrontation. A fierce battle ensues, seemingly culminating in Shredder’s defeat. However, this victory proves short-lived; Shredder escapes, launching a brutal attack that wounds Leonardo severely, razes April's home, and leaves the Turtles presumed lost. The group – Leonardo, Splinter, Casey, and April – narrowly survive, seeking refuge on Casey’s family farm outside New York City. Recovering from their injuries and renewed in purpose, they return to face the Foot Clan once more. Just as triumph feels within reach, Splinter mysteriously vanishes. Following a cryptic clue from a shadowy organization called "The Guardians," the Turtles uncover a startling secret: the Utroms, an alien race concealed amongst humanity. Their desperate attempt to save Splinter ends in tragedy and catapults them into the vast expanse of space.
