I began watching this program without any interest in football (soccer) and with very little anticipation for what it would be like. The initial episodes of the first season felt sluggish, and I found the Ted Lasso character somewhat irritating initially; however, around the middle point of that season, things really started to resonate with me, and the second season was truly excellent. Like another viewer mentioned, the connection between the actors is undeniable, and I share that sentiment completely. It seemed like they developed the supporting characters effectively, and a good portion of the screen time was devoted to them. The second season also provided several more moments that made me laugh. It’s an outstanding original series from Apple+ and I certainly suggest checking it out.
