Synopsis

In a frenzied race against the clock armed with nothing but their wild imaginations and a collection of utterly worthless trinkets five comedians plunge headlong into a series of completely idiotic challenges. With sweat dripping from their brows and sheer panic in their eyes, they desperately scramble for points as if their lives depended on it. Meanwhile, Taskmaster Arjen Lubach the ruthless monarch of comedy and his deadpan sidekick Diederik Smit sit on the edge of their seats, ready to mercilessly dissect every bungled moment. Today’s agenda features some unique tasks: sing, fight, cry, pray, laugh, work, and admire with plenty of room for personal interpretation. Get the duck to the water without touching its red beak. Also, create a portrait of the Taskmaster spread across sixteen sheets of flip-chart paper.
