Synopsis

Wendell, a quiet sort, simply sought to avoid conflict. He went to considerable lengths to gain acceptance from the popular crowd, especially the imposing athlete Rex Reavis and his companions, often diffusing their teasing pranks with an easy smile and a dismissive gesture.
