Synopsis

Piper Mannox, a bounty hunter with a reputation, appeared at Valetik Investigations seeking assistance. She needed Eddie and Sam to track an escaped prisoner who had killed a guard in his desperate flight. Eddie was reluctant; their history together had been fraught, and he disapproved of her flexible ethics. Yet, the promise of a quarter of a million dollars, coupled with Piper's proven ability to locate fugitives and Eddie’s own network within the police force, presented a compelling argument.
